Hello,
Latest revision of TheIDE does not build on Linux & GCC.

I get the following error message (in Debug.cpp, ln 296):

uppsrc/ide/Debug.cpp: In member function 'void Ide::ConditionalBreak()':
uppsrc/ide/Debug.cpp:296:53: Error: 'EditPDBExpression' is not declared in this scope
   if(EditPDBExpression("Conditional breakpoint", brk))

It seems that EditPDBExpression() function (in Pdb.cpp, ln 356) is defined only under MSC(#ifdef COMPILER_MSC).

Regards.

Hello Klugier,

Thank you for your fast reply.

I'm sorry but I don't understand what you mean.
Do you mean that I should post this message under that topic? Of course I can do that if it is necessary, or better.
Regarding your informative message ( http://www.ultimatepp.org/forums/index.php?t=msg&goto=43 546&#msg_43546): I always use SVN for nightly builds, and my build methods file (GCC.bm) is up-to-date. Smile

Am I missing something else?

I use GCC 4.9.1 on a Linux 3.16 kernel, by the way.

Regards,
Oblivion

Hello Oblivion,

What I would like to say is that both topics concern on broken compilation. But, it seems that your source is a little bit different (PDB not declarated vs wrong template argument). Anyway, thanks for reporting I will add your compilation message to appropriate topic on redmine.

P.S.
Redmine topic about broken compilation: http://www.ultimatepp.org/redmine/issues/836#change-1724

Hello Klugier,

With the U++ rev. 7624, TheIDE now compiles without any error on Linux 3.16/GCC 4.9.1.

Thank you (and Mirek, of course).

Oblivion
