Hi,
The correspondance between a zip/postal code and city is something very common in a lot of applications. It's not difficult to do, but rather than re-invent the wheel each time (even if it's a very simple wheel !), I'd like to have some functions, dialogs and widget(s) ready to use in upp.
This will allow to create/modify/use/manage etc. a table in the database of the application, and to have a standard control to display and edit the zip code and city, with a drop-down list and/or others facilities to get the zip/city. Later, we could also have some utilities to convert the table of one database (ie mysql) to another (ie postgre or firebird)...
First of all, do somebody already developped (or began to develop) something like that ?
If nothing already exists, I should like to initiate a project to do that.
Any idea or suggestion is welcome !
