Did anyone try to compile U++ under Android platform with Android Native SDK? AFAIK it supports C++ and GCC.

Hi,
Quoting from android-ndk README.txt:

Quote:

Also note that the NDK is *not* a good way to write non-JNI native code for the Android platform.

I think NDK is only if one want to write an app and cannot do it entirely in Java.

Hi,
I've thought of the similar question before, but I hope U++ can cross compile Android or Symbian applications instead of rebuilding a U++ for Android. See my post:
http://www.ultimatepp.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=366 36&#msg_36636
But it seems that U++ can not do this now and probably can after many releases.
Thinking of this, can you still say it's better than Qt or Java?
